Common Features of VFDs (VJ true series) and Common VFDs:
A way for adjustments to be made is through frequency changers. The biggest advantage is its ability to maintain pressure stability of the pipeline network system with the most accuracy, which is most applicable to situations with frequent changing air volume as well as air equipment that is susceptible to changing pressure.
Differences between VFDs (VJ true series) and Common VFDs:
a) The displacement of the VJ series may be higher than the rated displacement. If you lower the discharge pressure, it may convert the power of the excessive amount to the power required for greater displacement. Taking the VJ-10/8 machine for example, when the discharge pressure is lowered from 8 bar to 7 bar, the maximum discharge pressure will increase from 10 L3 to10.9 L3.
b) The VJ series allows you to operate under working conditions that are greater than the rated discharge pressure, but the maximum discharge pressure at that point will decrease, whereby converting the power of displacement for production to the power required for greater pressure. Taking the VJ-10/8 machine for example, when the discharge pressure is increased from 8 bar to 10 bar, the maximum discharge pressure will drop from10 L3 to8.7 L3.
In conclusion, common VFDs can only adjust their displacement when the electric machine adjusts its rotational speed, enabling the displacement of the air compressors to be in line with the air consumption used for the air equipment. However, VFDs of the VJ true series may realize dual adjustments to the displacement and discharge pressure, thereby correlating two independent parameters, namely displacement and discharge pressure. As a result, such trade-off expands product applications.
